News: Tesco, the acknowledged retail global leader continue to expand in Ireland. They have recently appointed MCR Engineering to supply a specialist range of Loading Dock Equipment and Automated Perimeter Security Gates. They identified MCR Engineering as the recognised leader of Double Deck Trailer Lifts and related Loading Dock Equipment.
News: Atlantic Industries have recently completed a major concentrate manufacturing facility in Wexford. They chose MCR Engineering to maintain their complete range of specialist doors, loading dock equipment and materials handling equipment.
News: Lagan Cement have recently purchased a 30sqm ATEX Rollfast Door from MCR Engineering. Nergeco, the French Specialist Rollfast Door company will manufacture the door. This unique door will ensure that the explosive gases, a bi-product of a manufacturing process will be contained, the rapid opening and closing door cycle will provide access for utility vehicles.
News: MCR Engineering completes extensive €200,000 project in the health care industry for Nypro developing fully automatic box filling lines with automatic palletising systems. This system incorporated global custom machine builders Komax Metech Systems.
News: MCR Engineering have recently successfully completed a €650,000 secondary steel contract for John Sisk & Son on the Indaver Waste to Energy Facility in Duleek, Co. Meath. Shane Mullaney, Managing Surveyor with MCR commented “This project consisted of public access and fire escape stairs and ladders including balustrading and gantry walkways. The project was completed within programme, to the contractors budget and to the design team’s exact specifications”
News: MCR Engineering have been awarded the contract to supply and install webmesh and PC Lago balustrading to the new Student Learning, Leisure and Sports complex in UCD, Belfield. Francis Whelan, General Manager of MCR Engineering says “This building is set to become a state of the art student facility incorporating recreational and leisure uses and MCR Engineering are proud to be in partnership with Walls Construction and their design team to realise such an innovative design brief.
News: MCR Engineering have successfully completed a €300,000 Metalworks contract for Walls Construction on the NUI Maynooth, Humanities & Social Sciences building for Scott Tallon Walker Architects. Managing Surveyor for MCR Engineering Shane Mullaney commented “Among the more complex, yet visually spectacular, aspects of the overall project was the installation of the feature stairs and atrium with structural glass balustrades which forms the focal point of the interior landscape.”
News: MCR Engineering have recently been awarded an extensive powder filling line with FMC BioPolymer in Cork. This is a new powder filling line which will be manufactured by MCR Engineering partners Pattyn Packing lines in Belgium.
